To obtain optimal performance from Active Directory and Exchange Server AIM, do the following:

• Deploy ADES AIM in geographical proximity to the servers it is intended to monitor. It avoids end-to-end metric poll performance degradation due to network latencies in geographically distributed Active Directory and Exchange Server environment.
• Configure the poll intervals proportional to the number of servers to obtain optimal performance.
