Assigning User IDs to a Security Group with the GROUP User Exit

Use the GROUP user exit when you have multiple user IDs that can be assigned to security groups based on the directory manager, account number, or both. The GROUP user exit is called when you specify an asterisk as the security group name on the GENACI command:

cms vmsecure genaci *

If you specify an asterisk as the security group name on the GENACI command and the GROUP user exit is not defined in the PRODUCT CONFIG file, a message displays indicating that an invalid security group name was specified.
