Assigning a User ID to a Security Group

Use the GENACI command, specifying a security group name, to assign a user ID to a security group. The GENACI command automatically puts an ACIGROUP statement in the user directory entry.

For example, to assign user ID FRAISERC to security group PUBS, enter the following:

vmsecure genaci fraiserc pubs

You can also specify the security group on an ACIGROUP statement in an individual directory profile, using the ADMIN PROFILE command.
