Step 2: Add Statements to the CA VM:Secure Directory Entry

To enable communication between the service virtual machine and the CP component, you must put an IUCV statement in the CA VM:Secure directory entry. To enable a CP QUERY MDISK command for the CAN and QRULES commands, you must also add an OPTION DEVINFO statement to the directory entry.

To add statement to the CA VM:Secure Directory Entry

1. Enter the following command:

   vmsecure edit vmsecure
   

2. Add the following IUCV statement:

   IUCV *RPI MSGLIMIT 65535
   

3. Add the following OPTION statement:

   OPTION DEVINFO
   

4. Save the changes and exit the file.
5. Continue to Step 3: Increase the Size of the AUDT Minidisk.
