By assigning users to security groups, you can easily create rules that apply to many users at a time. A security group is a group of users who have the same ACIGROUP statement in their directory entries. You create security groups by adding GROUP records to the SECURITY CONFIG file.
When you create a security group, you can optionally assign a manager. A security group manager is a user with RULES GROUP authorization in the AUTHORIZ CONFIG file.
Note: For more information about security groups, see Creating Security Groups.
