Using the PWSUPRES record to suppress the password disables the PA2 key from displaying a password with the USER or MANAGE commands, and the password is masked on the displays from the MAINT MANAGE and MAINT MDPW commands. However, you can still display passwords with the EDIT command.
(CA VM:Secure only) If you are using the Password Encryption Facility, password suppression is automatically in effect for the USER, MANAGE, MAINT MANAGE, and MAINT MDPW displays, so this record is not necessary.
