The TRANSFER command transfers ownership of a minidisk from one user ID to another or changes just the virtual device address of a minidisk.
CA VM:Secure automatically updates all directory links to the old minidisk to point to the new minidisk. It removes any pre‑existing directory links to the new minidisk. CA VM:Secure transfers minidisk passwords with the minidisk.
You cannot use the TRANSFER command to transfer a user ID and minidisk defined on an IGNORE record in the DASD CONFIG file.
