Description

When you want to make changes to any of the four product configuration files, the CONFIG command opens the specified configuration file in XEDIT so that you can review or change the CA VM:Secure configuration. You can change most of its configuration while it is running.

When you want to make changes to the SFS configuration, the CONFIG SFS command displays the SFS Configuration Menu, which allows you to change the configuration for SFS.

If you do not include a parameter on the CONFIG command, the System Configuration Menu displays, from which you can choose the configuration file to open or the SFS Configuration Menu.

When you save a configuration file you have modified, the system verifies your changes and puts them in effect immediately. If it finds a nonexistent user ID on a record when it updates the file, it writes warning messages on your console but still updates the file.

When you exit the SFS Configuration Menu after changing the configuration, CA VM:Secure puts those changes in effect immediately.
