CA VM:Secure writes audit records to the VMSECURE AUDIT file each time a user issues an audited CA VM:Secure command. For performance reasons, CA VM:Secure does not close the AUDIT file after it writes each record. Instead, it closes the file every 30 records, when the AUDITEXT command is issued, and at shutdown.
Your user ID must have a read/write A‑disk to use the AUDITEXT command, and you must have created an AUDT minidisk for the CA VM:Secure user ID and defined it on an ACCESS record in the PRODUCT CONFIG file.
Note: For the special considerations imposed when you run a Single System Image environment, see Single System Image Considerations.
