Reason for CA VM:Secure:
A user (userid1) or terminal (termaddr1) exceeded the invalid password limit for the type of password displayed (AUTOLOG, LINK, VMXLINK, DIAL, STORE, or VMXLOGON) for the user ID or terminal. When a LINK password limit is exceeded, vaddr is also displayed. CA VM:Secure prohibits userid1 or termaddr1 from further attempts at accessing userid2 or termaddr2.
Action for CA VM:Secure:
Determine if the user ID or terminal attempting access is valid. Supply the user with the correct password if necessary, and use the RESET or JOURNAL RESET command to enable the function again.
Reason for CA VM:Director:
A user (userid1) exceeded the invalid password limit for the type of password displayed (VMXLINK, VMXLOGON) for userid. When a VMXLINK password limit is exceeded, the virtual device address vaddr is also indicated. CA VM:Director prohibits userid1 from further linking to userid2.
Action for CA VM:Director:
Supply the user with the correct password if necessary, and use the RESET or JOURNAL RESET command to enable the function again.
