*FL= [Password Flag] (CA VM:Secure only)

If the Rules Facility is installed on your system, the *FL= comment indicates a user ID’s logon password status. Its password flag can be any of the following:

Password flag	Meaning

*	Logon password is valid.
E	Logon password is expired. †
N	User ID is new. †
R	Logon password was reset by the directory manager or system administrator. †
† This setting means that the user must change his logon password at next logon.

CA VM:Secure itself adds this comment to every user ID’s directory entry. It updates this comment when the user ID’s logon password status changes.

Do not enter values for this comment.
The *FL= comment is used only when the Rules Facility is installed.
