Security Features

This chapter describes the CA VM:Secure and CA VM:Director security features available to you.

These features include:

• Verifying passwords with another security system
• Verifying directory link statements
• Verifying minidisk link modes and passwords
• Verifying logon passwords
• Synchronizing passwords (CA VM:Secure only)
• Encrypting data (CA VM:Secure only)
