The documentation for both products is combined in this guide, references throughout this guide to CA VM:Secure also refer to CA VM:Director. Where features or functions are specific to only one of the products, that difference is indicated as follows:

• The heading for a section will indicate that the topic of that section is product specific.
• A prefix of the form "(CA VM:Director only)" will indicate that a specific paragraph within the section, or a specific entry within a table, is product specific.

Additionally, service virtual machines, configuration files, and records are shown for CA VM:Secure. However, if you use CA VM:Director, substitute the values for CA VM:Director as shown below:
