Transaction Security

CA Top Secret secures CA‑IDMS transactions in two ways: protecting them at the resource level as owned resources through the OTRAN (resource class), or on a user-by-facility basis through the use of the Limited Command Facility (LCF). Both methods of security are discussed in the “Securing Resources” chapter.
