About Examples

All of the examples in this chapter use the following console command prefix:

BESn
n

Indicates the BES task number.

There can be up to eight BES subsystem tasks. When issuing a console command to a subsystem other than BES1, you must use the appropriate prefix.

Example: Display encryption activity for subsystem 3

Issue the following command to display encryption activity for subsystem 3:

BES3 Display Active
