Digital certificates are stored in a structure called a key ring. You can think of a key ring as similar to the key ring you keep your house keys or car keys on. A key ring may have many keys on it, and each key opens a different lock. Similarly, a digital certificate key ring can have a collection of digital certificates, and each certificate is used for a different purpose. You can have multiple key rings to store and group multiple digital certificates.
