About Using CA Vantage GMI with CA Tape Encryption and CA ACF2

If you are running the CA Vantage GMI with CA Tape Encryption and IBM Security Server RACF, or plan to run it, keep in mind the following points when creating your CA ACF2 key sets for protecting CA Tape Encryption resources.

• To enhance CA Vantage GMI reporting, try to maximize your use of fully-qualified (discrete) key set names.
• To obtain the latest CA Vantage service with the most recent support for CA Tape Encryption and RACF reporting, contact Technical Support.

Note: If implementing the CA Tape Encryption SAF Interface, you will need to create a rule set granting your CA Vantage started task ID access to the TBESHOW utility program.
