The CA Tape Encryption SAF Interface uses the CA@BES general resource class to warehouse the security protection profiles. CA Tape Encryption always submits a fully-qualified resource name when requesting services from CA ACF2. This allows you to define discrete, fully-qualified or generic CA Tape Encryption resources in the CA@BES resource class.
Note: CA ACF2 provides native support for the CA@BES resource class in CA ACF2 r12 and above. However, you might have to update your CA ACF2 INFODIR settings. For more information, see Update CA ACF2 INFODIR Record.
