If you are running the CA Vantage GMI with CA Tape Encryption and IBM Security Server RACF, or plan to run it, keep in mind the following points when creating your RACF resource profiles for protecting CA Tape Encryption resources.

• To enhance CA Vantage GMI reporting, try to maximize your use of fully-qualified (discrete) resources.
• To obtain the latest CA Vantage service with the most recent support for CA Tape Encryption and RACF reporting, contact Technical Support.

Note: If you are implementing the CA Tape Encryption SAF Interface, you will need to PERMIT the CA Vantage started task user ID access to the TBESHOW utility program.
