Specify a Schedule for Changing In-House Keys

Use the Regenerate attribute to specify a schedule for changing an in-house key.

To specify a schedule for changing an in-house key

Specify one of the following options for Regenerate= in the <key_section> of the key for which you want to change the schedule:

• Weekly
• Monthly
• Yearly

The schedule for changing the key is specified.

Note: CA Tape Encryption checks for new versions of keys that need to be generated and performs its key generation logic every Monday at 6:00 a.m. local time.
