Specify Encryption Strength for a Key

Use the Algorithm attribute to specify the encryption strength for a specific key.

To specify encryption strength for a key

Specify one of the following options for Algorithm= in the key_section of the key:

• DES64

  Note: DES64 is not FIPS-compliant.

• 3DES128
• 3DES192
• AES128
• AES192
• AES256

The algorithm for the key is specified.
