SAML Service Provider Dialog--IPD Tab

The IPD tab is where you configure the Identity Provider Discovery profile (IPD), which enables the Service Provider to determine which Identity Provider the principals are using with the Web browser single sign-on profile.

The fields on this dialog are as follows:

Enable

Indicates that the Identity Provider Discovery profile is enabled.

Service URL

Specifies the URL of the Identity Provider Discovery Profile servlet. The default URL is:

https://idp_server:port/affwebservices/public/saml2ipd/*

idp_server:port

Identifies the web server and port hosting the Web Agent Option Pack or SPS federation gateway.

Common Domain

Specifies the common cookie domain (must be a subset of the host in the Service URL).

Persistent Cookie

Indicates that the cookie should be persistent.
