Global Policy Dialog—IP Addresses Tab

The IP Addresses tab is where you optionally specify IP addresses (in the form of hostnames, IP addresses, ranges of IP addresses, and subnet masks) of users requesting protected resources in order for a global policy to fire. For example, if you specify a range of IP addresses, only those users who login in from one of the specified IP addresses will trigger the global policy.

IP Address list

Selectable list of IP address requirements for the global policy. List columns are:

IP Address

This column lists IP addresses included in the policy.

Subnet Mask

This column lists subnet masks included in the policy.

End of Range

This column lists the last IP addresses in ranges of IP addresses. The beginning of the range of IP addresses is indicated by the value in the IP Address column of the same row in the table.

Name

Host name included in the policy.

Add button

Opens the Add an IP address Dialog from where you can add an IP address, range of IP addresses, subnet mask, or hostname to your global policy.
