AddRule Method—Adds a Rule to the Policy

The AddRule method adds a rule to the policy.

Syntax

The AddRule method has the following format:

Netegrity::PolicyMgtPolicy‑>AddRule(rule)

Parameters

The AddRule method accepts the following parameter:

rule (PolicyMgtRule)

Specifies the rule to add.

Return Value

The AddRule method returns one of the following values:

• 0 if the call is successful
• -1 if the call is unsuccessful
