SAML Affiliation Dialog Fields and Controls

The SAML Affiliation dialog contains the following fields:

Name

Names the affiliation. This name should be unique across all affiliate domains.

Description

(Optional) Describes the affiliation.

Affiliation ID

Specifies a URI that uniquely identifies the affiliation.

SAML Version

Specifies the SAML version (inactive; the value defaults to 2.0, indicating that assertions sent to Service Providers that are members of this affiliation must be compliant with SAML version 2.0).

The SAML Affiliation dialog also contains the following tabs:

Name IDs

Specifies the name identifier for the principal to be used when corresponding with SAML Service Providers that are members of the affiliation.

Users

Configures the users or groups of users for the SAML Service Providers that are members of the affiliation. Configured users can be authenticated for access to Service Provider resources; the assertion generator can create SAML assertions that include entitlement information for these users.

SAML Service Providers

Provides a read-only listing of all SAML Service Providers that are members of the affiliation.

SAML Auth Schemes

Provides a read-only listing of all SAML 2.0 authentication schemes that are members of the affiliation.
