Delete an Agent Type

To delete an Agent Type

  1. Log into the Policy Server User Interface.
  2. In the Object Pane, click on the System tab.
  3. From the View menu, select Agent Types.
  4. In the System Tab, select the Agent Types icon.

    The existing Agent Types appear in the Agent Type List pane.

  5. In the Agent Type List page, click the Agent Type you want to delete, then click Delete in the Tool Bar.
  6. Ensure that the Agent Type you want to delete is in the Delete dialog box and click OK.

Note: Take extreme caution when deleting an Agent Type. If this Agent Type is still used by any Responses, Agents, or Policy Domains in the existing SiteMinder installation and is deleted, the SiteMinder will not function properly. Do not delete a Web Agent Type.
