User Directory Information Group Box

The User Directory Information group box is where you specify the LDAP user directory connection and users within that directory to which the password policy will apply.

Directory drop-down list box

The user directory connection to which the password policy will apply.

Password Policy applies to the whole directory radio button

Specifies that the password policy should apply to the entire user directory.

Password Policy applies to part of the Directory radio button

Specifies that the password policy should apply to only part of the user directory.

When this option is selected, other related controls are activated:

Lookup button

Opens the User Lookup Dialog from where you can select the users within the user directory for which the password policy should apply.

Path and Class information fields

Show the path and class of the namespace you selected in the User Lookup Dialog.

Allow Nested Groups check box

Specifies whether the password policy is associated with nested groups within your LDAP directory.
