Policy Server Management

As a Policy Server system administrator, you may be responsible for one or more of the following areas of administrative responsibility:

System management

System-level configuration, management of Policy Server processes, and general administration of the SiteMinder environment, including:

• Management of system-level, domain-level, and global policy objects
• Management of users
• Management of keys and password policies
• Registering of trusted hosts

Domain management

Creation and maintenance of the objects that establish connections to network resources and determine access to those resources, including:

• Management of domain-level objects
• Management of users
• Management of password policies within specific domains
