In order to manage access control for a complex set of resources that are available on the Internet or corporate intranet, that set of resource must be logically grouped so that security policies can be created. SiteMinder uses several object types to allow you to group resources. When grouping resources in SiteMinder, the basic groupings for your resources are realms.
