Effects of FCCCompatMode
By default, a SiteMinder Web Agent is configured with the attribute FCCCompatMode=true. In this default state, an Agent can process impersonation requests. However, if you configure a Web Agent so that FCCCompatMode=false, then you must ensure the following in order for the Agent to process impersonation requests:
- The EncryptAgentName setting for the Web Agent must be set to false.
- The name of the Agent that will process impersonation requests must be hard-coded in the .fcc file that initiates impersonation or in the query data that is sent to the Agent that processes the initiation of an impersonation session.
