Configure Global Policies

Important! You can configure both global policies and domain-specific policies that affect the same resources. For example, if you can configure domain-specific policies for access control, and global policies that provide a standard set of responses. However, in order for global policies to function, the realms included in the domain-specific policies be configured to allow event processing.

For administrators with system-level privilege, Manage System and Domain Objects, the tab pane contains a tab for Global Policies. This tab allows an administrator to configure the global objects required for Global Policies. The process for creating a global policy requires the following steps:

  1. Global Rule Objects
  2. Global Response Objects
  3. Configure Global Policy Objects
