Configure an X.509 Certificate Authentication Scheme

After meeting the prerequisites described in the previous section, you can configure the scheme.

To configure an X.509 Certificate authentication scheme

1. Open the Authentication Scheme Dialog.
2. Complete the fields described in Authentication Scheme Dialog Fields and Controls.
3. From the Authentication Scheme Type drop-down list, select X509 Cert Template.
4. Complete the fields in the Scheme Setup tab as described in Authentication Scheme Dialog—X509 Client Cert Template Scheme Setup Tab.
5. Click OK to save your changes and close the Authentication Scheme Dialog.

   The Authentication scheme may now be assigned to a realm.
