If selected, the attribute returns the static value defined in the Variable Value (header variable) or Cookie Value (cookie variable) field.
If selected, the attribute returns profile information stored in the user attribute specified in the Attribute Name field from a user’s entry in a user directory.
If selected, the attribute returns profile information from a directory object associated with a DN in an LDAP or ODBC user directory (specified in the DN Spec and Attribute Name fields).
Note: If you select the DN Attribute radio button, you may also select the Allow Nested Groups check box. Selecting this check box allows SiteMinder to return an attribute from a group that is nested in another group specified by a policy. Nested groups often occur in complex LDAP deployments.
If selected, the attribute returns values from a customer supplied library that is based on the SiteMinder Authorization API (defined in the Library Name, Function Name, and (optional) Parameters fields).
If selected, the attributes returns the value determined by the variable object specified in the Variable field.
(Active only when the DN Attribute option is selected in the Attribute Kind group box). If set, this option allows SiteMinder to return a response with an attribute contained within a group that is nested in a group specified by a policy. Nested groups often occur in complex LDAP deployments.
