Add an IP Address Dialog Fields and Controls

The contents of the Add an IP Address Dialog change based on the option you select.

Single Host radio button

If selected, the IP address entered in the associated IP Address fields is added to the policy or affiliate.

Note: You can use the Single Host option to add multiple individual IP addresses to the policy or affiliate.

IP Address fields: Each field specifies one of the four portions of the IP address.
DNS Lookup button: Opens a DNS Lookup Dialog. Enter a host name in the dialog and click OK. The IP address of the host name appears in the Add an IP Address Dialog.

Host Name radio button

If selected, the host name specified n the associated Host Name field is added to the policy or affiliate.

Subnet Mask radio button

If selected, the IP address and subnet mask entered using the associated controls is added to the policy or affiliate.

IP Address fields: Each field specifies one of the four portions of the IP address.
DNS Lookup button: Opens a DNS Lookup Dialog. Enter a host name in the dialog and click OK. The IP address of the host name appears in the Add an IP Address Dialog.
Subnet Mask slider: Specifies the subnet mask.
Subnet Mask arrow buttons: Move the slider to the left or right by one position for fine-tuning the subnet mask value.

Range radio button

If selected, the range of IP addresses specified in the associated controls are added to the policy or affiliate.

From IP Address fields: Each field specifies one of the four portions of the IP address that starts the range of addresses.
DNS Lookup button: Opens a DNS Lookup Dialog. Enter a host name in the dialog and click OK. The IP address of the host name appears in the Add an IP Address Dialog.
To IP Address fields: Each field specifies one of the four portions of the IP address that completes the range of addresses.
DNS Lookup button: Opens a DNS Lookup Dialog. Enter a host name in the dialog and click OK. The IP address of the host name appears in the Add an IP Address Dialog.
