Effective Starting Date Group Box

The Effective Starting Date group box is where you can configure a specific date before which a rule or policy will not fire. If no starting date is specified (the default), the rule or policy is effective immediately.

Display Field

Displays the effective starting date for the rule or policy, if one is set. If no date is set, "<now>" indicates that the rule or policy is effective immediately.

Select Button

Displays the Set Starting Date group box (to the right of the Effective Starting Date and Expiration Date group boxes), where you can manage starting dates for a rule or policy.
