Delete Trusted Host Objects

You can delete a trusted host and re-register it. You re-register a host using the Registration Tool, smreghost. This tool is installed with the Web Agent.

You can run the Web Agent Configuration Wizard to re-register a trusted host. If you do, delete or rename the SmHost.conf file first, or the Wizard does not prompt you to register the trusted host. We recommend using the smreghost tool.

For details on registering and re-registering trusted hosts, see the Web Agent Installation Guide.

To delete a trusted host object

  1. Open the Policy Server User Interface.
  2. In the System tab, select Trusted Hosts to display the Trusted Host List.
  3. In the List pane, select the trusted host that you want to delete and right-click.
  4. Select Delete Trusted Host.

    The Deleting items dialog opens.

  5. Confirm the correct trusted host name is going to be deleted, then click OK.
