Properties Files

Properties files are text files that contain name/value pairs. The Registration Services JSPs use these name/value pairs to obtain information about users and global properties. Registration Services includes four types of properties files:

Locale

Determines the text, such as field names, error messages, and links, which is displayed on Registration Services pages.

Presentation

Determines which elements, such as fields and links, appear in the Registration Services pages, based on an administrator’s role.

Object

Define LDAP attribute names for profile data, such as address and title.

Mapping

Maps a set of properties files to a Registration Space.
