The Action group box is where you specify the type of event and the specific action that must take place for the global rule to fire:
Specifies that the rule should fire for the authentication event selected from the drop-down list box that appears to the right of the radio button when this entry is selected:
Occurs when a user successfully authenticates. This event may be used to redirect a user after a successful authentication
Occurs when a user fails to authenticate because no user name was supplied.
May be used in custom authentication schemes to trigger a response.
Occurs when a user that is bound to a policy fails to authenticate. The user must be bound to the policy for the rule to fire.
This event is only used to trigger Active Responses. This event should not be used to trigger any response other than an Active Response.
Specifies that the rule should fire for the authorization event selected from the drop-down list box that appears to the right of the radio button when this entry is selected
Occurs when SiteMinder successfully authorizes a user to access the resource.
Occurs when SiteMinder rejects a user because the user is not authorized to access the resource.
