If you are configuring an Agent object for a 4.x Web Agent identity, check Support 4.x agents, and the following additional items appear in the Agent Dialog:
IP address or the host name of the server on which the Agent resides.
Note: For virtual servers, define virtual server names and IP addresses as you would define a single server. Each Agent on a virtual server must have a unique Agent Name.
Allows you to enter a host name to find an IP address.
Specify an alphanumeric shared secret to the Agent when the Agent was installed on the Web server. The shared secret is used for mutual authentication when a 4.x Agent attempts to connect to a Policy Server. The secret must be between 1 and 255 characters in length and contain no embedded spaces.
Re-enter the shared secret.
