Associate a Rule with a Response or Response Group

You can associate a response or response group with a rule in a policy. When the rule fires, the associated response also fires.

To associate a rule with a response or response group

1. In the Policy Dialog, click on the Rules tab.
2. Select the rule to which you want to associate a response, and click the Set Response button.

   The Set Response dialog opens. This dialog contains a list of the responses that have been configured for the selected policy domain.

3. Click on a response and click OK.

   The Policy Server associates the response with the rule you selected in the Rule tab, and the Set Response dialog closes.
