Configure an Affiliate Agent Response Attribute

Affiliate Agent response attributes can be HTTP header variables or cookie variables. For details about specific Web Agent response attribute types, see the SiteMinder Web Agent Guide.

To configure an Affiliate Agent response attribute

1. In the SiteMinder Response dialog, make sure the SiteMinder radio button is selected in the Agent Type group box and Affiliate Agent is selected in the drop-down list.
2. Click Create.

   The SiteMinder Response Attribute Editor dialog opens.

   The process for configuring an Affiliate Agent response attribute is identical to the process for configuring a Web Agent response attribute. The only difference is that Affiliate Agents only support HTTP header variables or HTTP cookie variables as response attributes.

3. Click Apply to save your changes, or click OK to save your changes and return to the SiteMinder Administration window.
