Administrative Roles

The Policy Server User Interface allows you to configure administrator accounts that grant access to all Policy Server objects, specific subsets of resources called domains, or subsets of features, such as security or user management. You can assign accounts on a user name and password basis, or specify administrator privileges for specific administrators or groups of administrators who are stored in an existing user directory.

An administrator’s privileges are set up using the SiteMinder Administrator dialog. For detailed information about delegating administrative privileges to individual administrator accounts, see Policy Server Administrators.
