Server Name Field Does Not Allow an IP Address When Configuring X509 Client Cert Authentication Scheme (114372/114629)

Symptom:

When configuring an X509 Client Cert authentication scheme, the Server Name field does not accept an IP address, returning a "Server name format must be: machine.host.com[:port]" error dialog when configuration settings are applied.

Solution:

The Server Name field does not support IP addresses. The server name must be specified as a fully qualified domain name in the form stated in the error message (machine.host.com[:port]). The r6.0 SP6 SiteMinder Policy Design Guide has been updated that the Server Name field requires a fully qualified domain name and a note has been added stating that IP addresses are not supported in this field.
