This section lets you specify the database type that is to function as the report database and the required credentials to connect to it.
Important! The Report Server is a CA common component that CA products can share. As such, the installer lets you configure the report database to database types and versions that other products support, but SiteMinder does not. For a list of supported database types and versions, see the SiteMinder r12.0 SP2 Platform Support Matrix.
This section contains the following parameters:
Specifies if the embedded version of MySQL can be used as the report database.
Installs the embedded version of MySQL.
Does not install the embedded version of MySQL.
Specifies the database type that is to function as the report database.
Specifies that MySQL is to function as the report database.
Important! SiteMinder only supports the embedded version of MySQL.
Specifies that SQL Server is to function as the report database.
Specifies that Oracle is to function as the report database.
Specifies the password for the MySQL root user.
Specifies the name of the database account that has the necessary privileges to read and write to the report database.
Specifies the password for the database account.
(MySQL and SQL Server) Specifies the name of the database instance that is to function as the report database.
(Oracle) Specifies the Oracle Net Service Name that must be used to connect to the report database.
Note: If you are using the embedded version of MySQL, a value for this parameter is not required.
(SQL Server) Specifies the name of the DSN that must be used to connect to the report database.
Specifies the port on which the MySQL report database instance must listen.
Note: If you are using the embedded version of MySQL, a value for this parameter is not required.
