GetDescription Method—Retrieves Description of Variable Type Object

The GetDescription method retrieves the description of the variable type object. The variable type object is read-only.

Syntax

The GetDescription method has the following format:

Netegrity::PolicyMgtVariableType‑>GetDescription()

Parameters

The GetDescription method accepts no parameters.

Return Value

The GetDescription method returns one of the following values:

• variable_type_object_description (string)
• "" (empty string) if the call is unsuccessful
