Disable a Web Agent
If you want to stop the Web Agent from protecting the resources on your web server and stop communicating with the Policy Server, you must disable the Web Agent.
To disable a Web Agent
- Open the WebAgent.conf file.
- Change the value of the EnableWebAgent parameter to no.
- Save and close the WebAgent.conf file.
- Restart the web server if you changed the settings for any of the following parameters in your Agent Configuration Object or local configuration file:
- AgentConfigObject
- CacheAnonymous
- HostConfFile (IIS 6.0 and Apache agents only)
- MaxResourceCacheSize
- MaxSessionCacheSize
- PostPreservationFile
- ResourceCacheTimeout
The Web Agent is disabled.
