Activate the Policy
Now that your rules are assigned to AN groups, you can activate them.
To activate a rule, follow these steps:
- Open the eTrust Audit Policy Manager if it is not already open.
- On the left pane, click Policies.
- From the tree view, expand the SiteMinder policy folder.
- Click on the icon for the rule.
The icon turns from a blue bell to a red bell.
- Right-click the SiteMinder policy folder and from the pop-up menu click Activate.
A confirmation dialog appears.
- Click Yes.
