Microsoft ADAM/AD LDS as a Policy Store

Policy Servers installed on either Windows or UNIX systems can use Microsoft ADAM or AD LDS as a policy store. The following sections detail how to configure the policy store manually.

Note: You can use the Policy Server Configuration wizard to configure this type of LDAP directory server as a policy store automatically.
