SiteMinder Trace Logging

The trace.log file is a standard (WebAgent) HTTPPluggin.dll LowLevel trace file. The name and location for this file is defined in the Agent Configuration Object. The logging parameters for this file are configured in the SharePointAgentTrace.conf file. This file is found in the directory Agent-for-SharePoint_home/proxy-engine/conf/defaultagent.
