Windows Event Viewer Error Occurs due to SiteMinder Proxy Engine (CQ 138697)

Symptom:

When I start or stop the SiteMinder Proxy Engine in Windows Services, I see an Event Viewer error with Event ID as '0'.

Solution:

This behavior is a known issue with the SiteMinder Proxy Engine. Even after showing an error message the Agent for SharePoint works typically. The error is displayed in the Event Viewer each time the SiteMinder Proxy Engine starts or stops.
